Acupuncture

Dental Cleaning Guide

What is acupuncture in dentistry?

Part of traditional Chinese medicine, acupuncture is a technique where practitioners insert thin, flexible, sterile needles through the skin to stimulate specific points on the body. Acupuncture in dentistry helps relieve stress and dental anxiety. It also helps reduce nausea, gag reflex and dental pain.
